AGM 2026: Presentation of Awards
The 2026 Annual General Meeting of the Orwell Society was held at the NCVO building beside the Regents Canal in London on May 9th.

After the normal processes of such a meeting our Patron, Richard Blair, son of George Orwell, awarded the prizes in areas designed to help the careers of young journalists and writers:-

It was an excellent meeting in a lovely location overlooking Regent’s Canal! Delighted I finally got to go to an AGM in person in Islingon where I used to live not far from Orwell (but later!)
