Joining the Society or gifting a one-year membership
Benefits of joining The Orwell Society include a twice-yearly printed Journal, regular Orwell-related news, the chance to attend events (including our monthly online George Talks) and the right to attend and vote at our AGM.
The Society is UK-based and most in-person events are in the UK. However we welcome members from anywhere in the world.
You will remain a member until you cancel your annual subscription, paid by direct debit for UK based members and PayPal subscription (PayPal account not required) for members based outside the UK.
You can also gift a one-year membership by checking the relevant box on the joining form and entering the contact details of the recipient. We encourage anyone to gift membership to someone they know who has a real interest in Orwell and his work.

- Non-UK £40
- UK Young Person (25 or Under) £10
- Non-UK Young Person (25 or Under) £15
- UK Organisation £75
- Non-UK Organisation £90
