The Orwell Society is a registered UK charity and all subscriptions and donations go towards promoting the life and work of George Orwell.
Benefits of joining The Orwell Society include a twice-yearly printed Journal, regular Orwell-related news, the chance to attend events (including our monthly online George Talks) and the right to attend and vote at our AGM.
The Society is UK-based and most in-person events are in the UK. However we welcome members from anywhere in the world. You will remain a member until you cancel your annual subscription.
You can also gift a one-year membership by checking the relevant box on the joining form and entering the contact details of the recipient. We encourage anyone to gift membership to someone they know who has a real interest in Orwell and his work.
