Great work by Brian Thompson in Jesmond, who says ‘I have planted what Orwell planted 77 years ago, as in his diary; aubretia, miniature phlox, saxifrage, house-leek, miniature dianthus, on Eileen’s (E’s) grave.’

Orwell recorded, ”Rainy weather, so they should strike”.
