Len Chrome Lecture 1st March 2014 – Taking Sides
The International Brigades Memorial Trust has announced the next Len Chrome lecture at the Manchester Conference Centre on 1st March 2014: 11am – 5pm.
The event will feature artists and writers on the Spanish Civil War and keep alive the memory and spirit of the men and women from Britain, Ireland and other countries who volunteered to defend and fight fascism in Spain from 1936 to 1939.

Richard Blair, my wife Liz and I will be going to the Len Crome lecture this year after our warm reception last year when they focused on the Anniversary of the publication of “Homage to Catalonia”.
Since last year we have developed a good relationship with the IBMT with whom we have some shared members.
We have accepted the IBMT’s invitation to take a stand to promote the Society.
We look forward to greeting any members who wish to come. If we have not met before, please introduce yourself to us?
