Professor Robert Colls will be at Scarthin Books, The Promenade, Cromford, Derbyshire, on December 7th from 8pm to 10pm, to talk about his new book: George Orwell – English Rebel (Oxford University Press). All are welcome.
Copies of George Orwell – English Rebel will be on sale on the night at the discounted price of £20.00 (list price £25.00), which Professor Colls will be happy to sign.

Greatly enjoyed the talk at Scarthin Books. Having started Robert Collis’ book with exasperation I warmed to his theme and he made a good case for a critical yet warm appreciation of Orwell. Loved the seminar atmosphere at Scarthin. It worked well. Thanks for putting it on and thanks Les for arran ging the event.
