Our Speakers 2015-2018

A benefit of membership of the Orwell Society is attendance at the Annual General Meeting each April. These meetings discuss the position of the Society, hear reports from significant members of the Committee, see the presentation of the annual Dystopian Fiction Prize, and finally allow members to socialise and discuss their interests. And there is one more benefit – to hear some of the great invited speakers talk about their work and their interest in the work of George Orwell.

We are fortunate to have a member who is a skilled video journalist, and David Ryan has produced these records of the speakers from the last four meetings.
